What MAkes DR7T Double regulation special ?

“The DR7T benefits from having an identical pre-regulator, which reduces incoming noise dramatically and this is sonically beneficial. The defined input voltage to the output regulator effectively bootstraps the input to the output voltage regulator, greatly reduces modulation effects across the drain/source terminals with varying load currents and, rather like a cascode circuit configuration, reduces capacitive feed through across the output device drain/source junction, effectively extending the operating bandwidth.

The inherent properties of the circuit topology I use in these regulators enables sound quality enhancement when using DR operation. This would not necessarily be the case if lower performance regulators were used, although there may be some improvement noticed with using two lower performing regulators. The better the regulator performance, the greater the sound quality enhancement.”
